One morning at McDonald’s, one of our friends excused himself to go to work. He told us that he was volunteering at the new Mission Thrift Shop. A woman in our group asked, “What’s in it for you? Do you get a discount or something?” Another woman who is a generous volunteer responded softly, “Everyone needs a little direction and purpose in their life.” That is reinforced this morning. Thank you all.
