Welcome

This Sunday you are invited to a wedding!

A wedding that is going to run out of wine… until Jesus shows up!
We join Jesus and his mother at the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11), and spend some time wondering about signs of abundance and grace as the ‘wine of patience runs out’ in these COVID times.

PS: If you are a wine drinker, enjoy a glass of wine for this ‘Wedding at Cana’…
If you are not a wine-drinker, enjoy some fresh grapes. Ponder with us the invitation to share extravagant love and abundant generosity.

Baptism of Jesus Sunday (Luke 3:15-17, 21-22)

Jesus received a special word of blessing at his baptism, and this word shaped his life's story.

What name are you known by? How are you shining a blessing?

As you come to worship, bring along....

... a candle to light as we celebrate the "Light of the World"
... a bowl of water as we remember Jesus’ baptism, and recall God’s blessing on each of us.
... and your star word, if you picked one up for 2022.

Welcome

The Inn! Housing the Holy

It's Christmas Eve... we stand at the door of the "Inn".
The Advent lights of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love bid us welcome.
The animals from the stable invite us to each share our unique gift of presence.
Together, we 'house the holy' and shine a light of welcome and compassion in a weary world this season.

Bring a candle to worship as we light candles and sing Silent Night.

Important Christmas Eve Update

With the increasing Covid19 cases, and our commitment to keeping everyone as safe as possible, we've decided to have the service online only.

Understandably, some folks will be disappointed to hear this news, while others may be glad that an online service is being provided.

We hope you can log on and still feel connected to your Visions family through this engaging and carefully planned service. Our Children's Ministry has prepared a story video that is included in the service and is sure to bring you some Christmas cheer. Please bring a candle with you as one will be requested in the online service.

Thank you to all our volunteers who have continued to step up to the challenges that Covid19 has created with so many last minute changes.

We are thinking of you all and wish you the very best Christmas possible.

We've been making room this Advent for 'Housing the Holy' and opening wide the door of the 'Inn' of our lives and our church. Love is the 'view' from this room we've been preparing - a bold, compassionate, daring love.
